The SvelteLife Program consists of Four Cornerstones. However, it is important to note that SvelteLife is fully customizable to meet your needs. You choose to implement whichever of the cornerstones you feel you need to complete your weight loss puzzle and build a solid foundation of health and fitness. However, if whatever you are doing is not working, it is likely you are missing a key cornerstone!

  1. The SvelteMap – Chart your course with a unique, effective, and motivational goal setting system that guides you, at the correct pace, down the road to long-term success. It also provides you with a lively visual display of your progress. When you first lay eyes on it, it appears busy. However, do not let that deter you. Spend a few moments to learn about it, and you will quickly become a veteran and a fan.
  2. Stress Management – Stress can destroy your weight loss efforts in many ways – it makes you eat more, eat faster, and make poor choices; it also makes you too tired to exercise and interferes with sleep. Addressing it, along with other psychological aspects of weight management, is imperative for long-term health and weight loss. Here you’ll find why and how the “Chill Pill” is the magic pill to weight loss, along with practical tools to help you overcome your stress.
  3. EatSvelte™ – This is the “What and how do I eat” – by far the most important – part of the program. It is a rational, healthy eating plan with two basic components, helping you learn both quality (the "what") and quantity ("how much") control. To know what to eat, simply follow "The Half-Three Sixths Rule" (by far the most important component of SvelteLife and key to long-term weight loss success). To learn how not to overeat, you will learn a skill called “Checking Your Fuel Gauge” (CYFG)." EatSvelte™ also teaches healthy food and snacking choices, and helps you manage cravings.
  4. The SvelteLife Fitness Plan – A liveable, customizable exercise program that builds tone, burns fat, and provides all the other myriad benefits of exercise, including weight loss. It requires only about two hours of exercise per week. You may either develop (or already have) your own fitness plan, or you may use The SvelteLife Fitness Plan. I recommend at least 30 minutes of cardiovascular exercise (e.g., brisk walking) at least three times per week, with some additional resistance exercise 2-3 times per week.
