Dr. Cluff has a passion for weight management. This passion began to develop when he started putting on weight around the time he got married (1992). Through his entire training he gathered information, made observations, and developed strategies which helped to reverse his own weight gain, after which he has helped many others. He has been actively treating weight problems for 12 years.
Dr. Cluff has a great deal of experience in treating obesity, and his SvelteLife program has evolved and become more and more refined and helpful over the years. In 2003 he self-published a book called SvelteSelf®, which he named after his trademarked goal-setting system, now called The SvelteMap. Between 2003 and 2006 he conducted a weekly support group called SvelteShops, which have now evolved into the current format. In 2007 he published his book, SvelteLife: The New Weight Loss Reality, and this year he released a companion workbook, The SvelteLife 15-Day Jump-Start. He is currently working on his next book, See You Thin: The Svelte Way of Life, due out soon. It will represent a book version of his SvelteShops and contain additional valuable information (click This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
